One of the best surprises of this past bloom season! Really vigorous plant, stiff stalks, lots of flowers, very pretty blooms with great color, and a nice fragrance. I hope to see this make a nice clump in the next couple of years.

Aegean Wind is our addition to one of the most exciting breakthroughs in recent Iris hybridizing--dark topped blue bi-tones and amoenas. Here a medium blue-violet shade pleasantly tints the standards.

The beards carry the same predominant color. The most salient feature of this elusive beauty though is the light violet to milky-white falls. This descendant of Tokatee Falls has outstanding bloom habit and vigorous growth habits.
